Three Steps to Photo Compliance

17

Are your listing photos ready to meet eBay’s new image requirements? Many sellers have been busy modifying their listings since eBay first announced their photo requirements last year. eBay will officially begin enforcing their picture quality requirements for all new, revised and relisted items on July 1, 2013. Listings that fail to meet the new standards will be flagged and potentially removed from the site. ...

Pictures in the Olden Days

1

I’ve written about my experiences in the wild-west days when eBay was a relatively “new” company. For the most part, selling on eBay back then was great. But, while the actual selling on eBay was positive, the part leading up to actually listing an item for sale on eBay was, at least for me, a headache and a half. ...

Some of the most memorable NFL games I have seen have taken place during the playoffs over the past few weeks, and I am admittedly giddy about Super Bowl XLVII between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. I generally dislike rooting for teams that are perennial Super Bowl contenders, so I was disappointed to see the New York Giants and the New England Patriots face off in the big game last year. On top of being two of my least favorite teams, they had literally just played against each other four years earlier in Super Bowl XLII. Despite these unfortunate circumstances, I was still able to enjoy the game with friends and family. After all, one of them would inevitably lose, and I could at least celebrate that, right? ...

2013 Small Business Outlook Survey Results [INFOGRAPHIC]

0

Auctiva recently participated in a survey where it asked sellers about their business outlook for 2013. We were pleased to hear that many of the sellers had a positive outlook for their business and the majority of them planned to grow their profits by streamlining operations and holding back on hiring new staff members. How about you? Are you feeling optimistic about your online selling for 2013? We’d love to hear what you have to say in the comment section. ...

How To Deal With Fraudulent Emails

2

Don’t you just cringe when you get an email offering you cheap prescription drugs? Or how about the ones from a prince on the run? If you would just send him your bank account information, he would have a place to hide his treasure and you could both be rich! Um, no thanks. Most of us have been using email for years and we know a fraudulent email when we see one. But there are still tons of email renegades out there trying to phish for our personal information by sending us phony emails. Only, they've gotten a bit more sophisticated than the usual ones. Some of them have even been targeting our own Auctiva users. ...
