There are only a few weeks left of 2010, which means now is the time to kick your eBay selling into high gear!
We’ll help by giving you a few tips that will allow you to put your best foot forward this holiday season.
1. Take great images! You already know that when you list with Auctiva, your first 24 images include supersizing, all without incurring additional image fees from eBay. But did you know that the quality of your pictures is just as important as the quantity? When buyers look at your listing, they want to see sharp images, with neutral backgrounds that clearly show the item you are selling. Remember to crop out unnecessary edges to make them look more close-up and professional.
2. Try on our newest holiday-themed templates. Whether you want a basic wintery background, or one with elves and toys, we have a template for you. What better way to make your listing stand out from the rest, make it look professional and attract buyers?
3. Profiles help you list faster. My favorite Auctiva feature is the ability to easily create a new listing from one I already have saved in my account using our Profiles. They save you time by automatically inserting the information you use most often into your listing, with just a few clicks.
4. Use Auctiva to schedule your listings. Take advantage of the free time you have right now to create your listings; then schedule them to launch on eBay at the optimal time. Remember, when you use Auctiva to schedule your listings, you won’t have to pay eBay’s 10-cent (or more) scheduling fee. Just create your listings anytime, and specify a time and date when you want them to launch. Our tools will take care of the rest.
5. Get organized. Shipping can be the most time consuming task if you’re not prepared ahead of time. Order extra boxes from the USPS, stock up on packing materials and shipping tape and, if you can spare the space, make a “shipping station.” It’ll make shipping those boxes so much easier if everything you need is kept in one place where you can easily find it!
