The month of April always brings the same bag of tricks to Auctiva’s northern California offices: temperamental weather (40 degree swings within days of each other), company softball games and some festive Earth Day celebrations.
The annual Go Green Challenge was issued once again to Auctiva employees and everyone was encouraged to take a few extra steps to conserve energy and show a little love to planet Earth. For each extra ‘green’ act employees reported to HR, they earned a drawing ticket for the Earth Day prize drawings.
Some employees mowed their lawns using an electric lawn mower, while others chose to walk to work. Many employees participated in an e-recycle program where they donated old cell phones and computers to the local Computers for Classroom program. ...
